New! Work in Progress

PAYSAGE ARCHETYPAL World 2008 -

Archetypal Landscape, new pictures and exhibition project showing the fundaments of my researches.

Some of these fundaments are:
- The image of the city versus the city of images.
- The thin and confusing limit between archetype and cliché.
- The mythology and the popular appropriation of archetype landscapes.
- The icons of architecture and my fascination for non-architecture, melting-pot of all architecture.

New! Work in Progress

PRECAST CONCRETE World 2008 -

A huge and long term research about the history of construction
trough the prism of precast concrete technique.

Including case studies with masters like Marcel Breuer, I.M. Pei or Mies Van der Rohe,

and contemporary brilliant architects such as Andrea Bassi or Claus and Kaan.

This research is made at EPFL in the Andrea Bassi's lab called LAURE,
in collaboration with the PhD architect Thierry Voellinger.

GOLDEN CITY Laos 2006-2007-

Work in progress project in Northern Laos.

Chinese promoters simply bought a province in North Laos to create golf places and "five stars" hotels for their emerging "bourgeoisie".
In a very short time, they are building a city from A to Z in the middle of jungle.
A city of happiness, "Golden City".

DREAMWORLD Thailand 2005-2007

A photographic research in the suburb area of Bangkok.
Everything we build, architecture, isn't it a material representation of our dreams?
But in this case, if all those representations are made like theatre decoration, tawdry but empty, what is the value of our dreams?
